Kelsey found this lovely chunk of ice in our backyard!

Don't mind
the fact
that I have no
make up on
or that my
pants are
so awesome.

There is snow everywhere! The cute, furry create there on the left is my dog Bo :) I'm pretty much obsessed with him.

I can't believe all this snow! I thought I was getting out of it when I left Utah but here I am and it's still all around me. Lovely. At least it's a good excuse to just stay inside all day and watch movies. Wow, I'm lazy.

We've been writing letters all day to missionaries. A lot of my friends are coming home so soon! I can't believe two years has already gone by since they all left.

All in all, life is grand. I shoveled our sidewalk and driveway three times yesterday and I'm really sore today so I've been having Kelsey stand on my back for hours at at time. It feels really good.

I'm going home in four days!

Thursday, December 4, 2008

1. North Carolina (72) 7-0 1,800
 2. Connecticut 6-0 1,723
 3. Pittsburgh 7-0 1,592
 4. Duke 7-0 1,526

Just an update on my life. Sports. That's my life. UNC basketball is dominating college hoops. They are favored to be the national champs this year and I agree with that. They should've had it last year.

Also, finals are coming up. Only about one more week of school left! I can't WAIT to get home to Oregon. I miss it a lot. That's about all. I saw a puppy today that I wanted to buy but my apartment complex don't allow dogs or fun or anything. It's ok.

Happy thanksgiving! What a lovely holiday. I got to see my family, eat some delicious food and hang out with my cool grandparents! Oh, also, I got a break from school! Here are a few pictures of our good time in Idaho.

Me and my sisters with both sets of grandparents. A crazy photo but it's who we are. Also, notice casi's left hand! Yes folks, my little sister is officially engaged :)

Here's the whole group. My dad is so proud that he figured out how to use the timer on his new camera.

And finally, this is how we sleep when we are at grandma's house: on the floor and spooning. Who wouldn't want to be a part of this family? I love it. Of course, Lindsey always gets the couch.

So that's thanksgiving with the Craft clan. Always noisy, always out of control but always fun.

Casi and Daniel
The
twins

Me

Sisters and that boy

On Sunday my friend Kayla agreed to take pictures of me and my sisters and a boy that my sisters loves. She is an angel for agreeing to put up with us for a few hours and for making us look good :) Seriously, she's amazing.
Tyler Hansbrough is making me very sad. He is still not able to play basketball and, as such, I have not been able to live. Technically, I'm alive but ask anyone and they will tell you that my life is incomplete... it's obvious. ESPN doesn't know when he'll be able to play again. Also, UNC lost another player Tyler Zeller to a broken wrist. He was a really good player too. UNC is hurting but I still love them. (Advice: Don't name your child Tyler if you plan on having them play some basketball)
School is normal. Boring but normal. My life is school and basketball right now so that's great. It doesn't get much better really. Unless, of course, I had a boyfriend or something. I'm not bitter.

I haven't updated my blog in a while and I figured that since this prop 8 stuff is what's going on I should write about it. I don't really know what to write. I don't know everything about what's going on. I'm not from California, although this protesting is spreading to other states as well. I have a few strong opinions but they're not really based on fact. They're just what I feel. I just hate that this has turned into a massive anti-mormon campaign. Maybe a few adjectives could help define my feelings about it: scary, alarming, irritating, foreshadowing, troubling. You know, the usual ones. I just know that it's going to start getting harder to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and to stand up for what we believe in and I can't wait. I want to be strong and to tell people about what I believe. And when I have children one day I want them to be strong also. We can't sit on the fence anymore.

It's official. The twins have voted! Yay for America :)
