www.dictionary.com
Public Relations:
1. the actions of a corporation, store, government, individual, etc., in promoting goodwill between itself and the public, community, employees, customers, etc.
2. The art or science of establishing and promoting a favorable relationship with the public.
3. The methods and activities employed to establish and promote a favorable relationship with the public.

That's me. I have officially been accepted into the Communications: Public Relations major at BYU! I'm so excited! Mainly, it's just nice to not have to worry about it anymore. It's like a little piece of my future has finally decided to fall into place for me :)

Also, it's birthday week. I know someone who has a birthday everyday this week starting Monday with my friend Connor and ending on Sunday which is mine and Lindsey's! Happy birthday to all. Zac Efron's is on Saturday.

Do you know what the hardest thing is about having this blog? Thinking of things to write. I LOVE to read everyone else's, comment on posts and such but then I realize I haven't updated mine in a few weeks so I probably should write something. But what?

Nothing major really ever happens in my life so I think about the smaller things and I think of something to write but then I remember this is public and I just don't want to share that much intimate information about myself.

So then I think, "Well I could write something about politics. Everyone else is." Then I remember that I don't like McCain, Obama, Palin or Biden... so what would I write?

You see the struggle that goes into a new post? Maybe it's not this hard for some people. Usually I'm realy good at talking non-stop about whatever pops into my head but when it comes to writing it down where it will forever be visible for others to read I freeze. If everyone's going to read it, it's gotta be good. haha. But really only like 2 people read this so it doesn't matter.
I will just put up some pictures. A picture is worth 1,000 words, right? Works for me.

My roommate, Melissa, is on the BYU volleyball team! I've learned to actually like the sport and I never thought I would.

Me and Lindsey matched! Totally on accident, I swear.

I've decided to dedicate this post to the amazing skills of my BYU football team. There's only been 3 home games so I don't have that many pictures but it's a good start. More to come!

AND IT BEGINS....

Well, day two of my Junior year at BYU is over and done with. I can't believe it's round three for me at this beautiful campus. Even though the school and homework part isn't so great, I'm happy to be here.

I've got a few interesting classes this year that are going to be pretty fun and some that will be down right boring. That's ok. I'm loving my roommates and it's good to be back with them again. This is our third year all together...we've known each other since freshman year! Wow. One of the six of us is new this year but she fits right in and it's SO fun.

I miss Oregon and my family tons but I think school's going to be fun this year.

You can never get too many cute pictures of the Craft girls :)

Well, Lindsey and I were supposed to be in Idaho right now but our apartment complex seemed to have forgotten we were coming because there are still two girls living in our room :) Lovely, don't you think? So we won't be leaving until Wednesday now. It's really not that big of a deal... just a little frustrating since we packed up EVERYTHING and I am not living out of a duffle bag. Just another lovely day in the life of Whitney :)

I'm not really that excited to get back to school I've had such a good summer and i love hanging out with my sisters. I'm sure once I get back there I'll get used to it but right nw I'm not happy about leaving Oregon. I'll keep you updated on how I'm adjusting. You'd think that by my third year I'd be used to this :) haha.

This blog is JUST like my journal, I swear. I remember I have one and then think to myself, "Hey I should update that." So, my summer after my sophomore year in college is about over. It's august. I can't believe it's gone by so fast. I've really loved being home and I'm not really excited to get back. I've never been a big fan of the school concept that our country loves so much. ha.

In other news, my cousin is returning from a 2-year mission for our church in a few weeks! I'm so excited to see him. I can't believe it's already been two years. Time sure does fly. Other than that, life is normal. I've been babysitting all summer to boost my bank account... I wish I could say it was working. I'm afraid I'll have to get a job at school. Oh well. Life goes on :)

In closing, three cheers for team USA in this summer's olympics! Wow.
